Everything here is in Settings › AI receptionist › Voice & name. It waits for Save at the bottom; Cancel puts back what was saved. The next call uses the new settings.

Who answers

  • Name — the name she introduces herself with.
  • Use the short greeting — on (recommended), callers hear "Hi, thanks for calling {your company}… This is {her name}. How can I help you?", shown in the Callers hear box. Turn it off to write your own greeting.

Voice

A card for each voice with its name, female or male, accent and style. Press Listen to hear that voice say your greeting; the first play takes a few seconds, after that it's instant. Click a card to choose it (Chosen). All, Female and Male filter the cards.

Speaking speed

Drag from Slower to Faster (0.7 to 1.2). Recommended 0.9 is a little slower than normal, which is easier to follow on the phone. Listen at this speed plays the chosen voice at the speed you set.

Thinking

How long the AI thinks before answering:

  • Fast answers — starts answering right away. Best for most calls.
  • Balanced — about half a second longer before answering.
  • Careful answers — thinks the longest, a second or more on tricky questions; callers notice the pause.

Balanced and Careful use more AI time, so each call costs a little more from your AI balance. Only a company admin can change Thinking.

After hours, tone and what callers are told

  • Night message — the opening after hours, when your business hours say the office is closed. Tone — Friendly or Professional.
  • Say the call is recorded with its words, Record calls, and Say it's a virtual assistant: Only when asked or In the greeting. Asked, she always says she's an AI assistant.

Hours, transfers, callbacks and knowledge have their own places on the same page — see AI receptionist.
