On this page
Accounting in the menu is your payroll: what everyone earned in a pay period, what you've paid them, and what is still owed.
Before you start
You need Can see the payroll tab. Without it, Accounting isn't in your menu. Company admins always have it.
Pick the dates
The page opens on the current pay period. Previous two weeks and Current two weeks jump between the halves of the month (the 1st–15th and the 16th–end), or type your own From and To. With more than one branch, a branch filter shows too. Print prints a payroll statement (see below); Refresh reads it again.
The date calendars on the payroll — From and To, Date of Payment, Payment date — show last month and this month side by side, so the period you just closed is one press away. On a phone they show one month.
Five tiles sum up what you're looking at: Total payroll, Paid (paychecks applied), Still owed, Jobs and Hours.
Three levels
The breadcrumb at the top walks you back up. Double-click a row (tap on a phone) to go down.
- Departments — each department's jobs, hours, hours pay, packing, services, tips, total and paid.
- A department's people — the same figures per person, with Owed or Paid up.
- One person — every job they worked (Date, Booked, Pickup → delivery, Estimate, Closing total, Hours, Hourly, Packing, Services, Tip, Bonus, Commissions, Total, Paid), their misc payments, and — always at the bottom, right above Totals — their paychecks. Show the math on a commission explains how it was worked out. Click a job's Hours to change them on the spot (see Change a mover's hours on the payroll).
Add a misc payment
Add payment records pay that isn't a job:
- Choose the Payment type: Hourly, Misc, Daily Rate or Per Day Bonus.
- Pick the Payee, the Date of Payment and (with several branches) Select Branch.
- For Hourly, the Hourly rate and Hours; for the others, the Amount. The Hourly rate fills itself with the payee's hourly rate from their Rate & Commission Settings for that branch, as it stands on the Date of Payment (a new rate set with Add new rate after counts from its day); Daily Rate and Per Day Bonus fill their Amount the same way. Change the payee or the date and it fills again — unless you typed your own. Total is rate × hours. A Misc payment can be To Pay or To Deduct.
- Add Notes and press Save and Close. To pay the next person the same way, press Save, pay another instead: the payment is saved and the form stays open with the same details, ready for another payee.
On the person's page the misc row shows its Notes under Details (for example Reviews), with a small tag for the kind — To pay or To deduct for a Misc payment, Hourly rate, Per day rate or Per day bonus for the others. A long note is cut with "…"; point at it to read it all. The printed statement and the CSV carry the note too.
Pay someone
On a person's page:
- Tick the jobs and misc payments you're paying.
- Press Apply payment.
- Set the Payment date (it starts on the last day of the period you're looking at), the Form of payment (it starts on Check, with the Check number box; or Cash), the Amount and Notes, and save.
The paycheck shows under the person, and their jobs count as paid. Delete removes the ticked rows after Are you sure?.
What you type in these pop-ups is kept if you close them without saving.
Print payroll
Press Print (the printer button next to the dates). In the print window choose Landscape for the roomiest layout; Portrait works too (the type is smaller).
- On one person: their payroll statement — your logo, company name, address and phone, Payroll statement, the person and their department, the period (for example Sep 16 – Sep 30, 2026) and the day it was printed. Then every job, misc payment and paycheck with the columns you see on screen (columns you hid with the gear stay hidden; a pay column nobody earned anything in is left out), Totals once at the end, and a box with Total pay, Tips, Paid and Balance owed, the misc items and the paychecks listed under it.
- On a department, or on All departments: one statement per person, each starting on a new page, then a Payroll summary page with one line per person and the totals.
Every page shows the person and the period at the bottom, and Page X of Y. The column titles repeat at the top of every page. The printed figures are the same as the screen's. The printout is always light, even if you use the dark theme.
If something goes wrong
- "Payee is a required field" / "Date of payment is a required field"

- "Select Branch is a required field"
- "Payment date is a required field" / "Amount is a required field"
- "Failed to save paycheck" / "Failed to remove paycheck" — nothing changed; try again.
