Put it on your website

Go to Settings › Services & packing › Box delivery › Store page. Press Copy the line and paste it into your website where the store should appear. Put it between your own header and footer, on a page of its own. The store fits your page's width and grows to its full height, so it reads as part of your website. Open the store shows it on its own.

Show our banner and footer (off at the start): when it's off, the store on your website has no banner and no footer line of its own — just the shop, under your website's own header and above its footer. Turn it on to show the store's banner (headline, delivery fee, banner picture) and its "Questions? Call us" line on your website too. Open the store always shows them.

The cart bubble stays at the bottom right of the part of the store your visitor can see, and the cart opens there too, however far down your page they are.

On the same tab you can change the headline, the color, the banner picture, and whether the box calculator and your questions are shown.

Color: My portal colors (the start) uses the button and link colors of your customer portal, so the store matches your brand. Pick Its own color to give the store a different one. The words on the buttons are always made readable.

What customers see

The store has a banner with your delivery fee rule, the box calculator, your bundles, boxes and supplies (with your photos), delivery and return details, and your questions.

The box calculator asks three questions: how big the home is, how much stuff, and how much protection. Its button says "Pick your home size first" until a size is picked, then shows the supply list.

Customers add items to a cart. A round cart bubble at the bottom right shows how many items are in it; pressing it opens the cart. They then check out in three steps:

  1. Cart: change quantities.
  2. Delivery: name, email, mobile phone and the delivery address. The street suggests addresses as they type and the ZIP fills the town and state; they can type over anything. MoveBoard checks the address against your delivery area as soon as it's complete. If it's too far, your words (with your phone number) show under the address, Continue to payment stays off and the Add buttons grey out.
  3. Pay: the prices worked out by MoveBoard, line by line, including delivery, sales tax and your card fee, then the card. The card number goes straight to Authorize.net.

After an order

  • The order arrives as a New box delivery, and the office calls the customer to set the day and time.
  • Prices are always MoveBoard's own. If a price changed while the customer was shopping, they're asked to review the cart again.
  • If the buyer is already your customer with an open move, the box delivery is linked to that move.
  • If the buyer is your customer but has no open move, MoveBoard adds a new lead on their account.
  • If the buyer is new, MoveBoard adds a new customer and a new lead with the lead source Box store, so sales can follow up about their move.
  • A declined card places no order and adds no lead.
  • Box money is never part of a move's total or balance.
