The review bonus in payroll

When Pay a review bonus is on (Settings › Reputation › Competition & bonus), you don't print slips or type anything: MoveBoard puts the bonus into payroll by itself.

When

A pay period's bonus goes into payroll 3 days after the period ends (late reviews have come in by then, and a removed one has been confirmed). Until then the Bonus calculator shows it as Pending with the day it will go in; after, as In Accounting › Payroll.

What you see in payroll

One line per person per review, on their statement in Accounting › Payroll, dated the period's last day, in plain words: "Review bonus — 5★ Google review from Jane D., Oct 3, 2026 (with a photo; split 3 ways)". A place prize is its own line: "Review bonus — 1st place, Oct 1–15, 2026". Who gets a line is your Who gets the bonus setting: the foreman, the foreman and movers responsible for the review, or the movers only — each the full amount, or their share of it. The periods are the ones you chose in Settings (twice a month, monthly, weekly or every two weeks).

It is made once: running again never adds a second line. If you delete or change the line in payroll, MoveBoard leaves your change alone.

Reviews removed later

A review that already paid a bonus and is then removed by the site is taken back from everyone it paid: for each of them a negative line "Review clawback — Oct 3, 2026 review" for exactly what that review paid them (their review pay and photo extra), dated the day it is taken back. Place prizes are not taken back. Each review is taken back once. Turn Take back removed reviews off to keep paying them.

On Reputation › Competition › Filtered each person a removed review paid has a card with two boxes:

• Deduct from current bonus: on, his removed reviews are taken back in payroll (within minutes); off, they wait. Untouched, it follows Take back removed reviews.
• Money recovered: you got the money back another way (cash, a check). His paid, not yet taken back removed reviews are marked recovered and never become a payroll line. Untick to undo (a line payroll already made stays in payroll).

Report prints the Review Bonus Adjustment Notice for the crew leader to sign. A removed review whose period isn't in payroll yet simply doesn't count. The table at the bottom shows each one's status: Recovered, Outstanding or Not paid yet.

Payout slips

You don't need them — but the Bonus calculator still prints payout slips (four to a page) and a payout CSV.

Each period keeps its rules

Changing the amounts applies from the current pay period on; a new pay period schedule starts the day after the current period ends. Earlier periods are paid — and taken back — by the rules and dates they had.
