Product Update: Instant Online Booking with E-Signature and Deposit Collection

We are thrilled to announce one of our most requested features: true online booking with integrated e-signature and deposit collection. Your customers can now go from receiving a quote to confirming a booked move entirely online — no phone call required.

How Online Booking Works

When a customer receives their instant online quote through Elromco, they now see a "Book This Move" button directly on their quote page. Clicking it takes them through a seamless three-step process:

Step 1: Review and Confirm Details. The customer reviews their move details — date, origin, destination, inventory, crew size, and total price. They can still modify anything through the interactive client portal before booking.

Step 2: E-Sign the Agreement. The customer signs your moving agreement electronically. Signatures are legally binding under the federal ESIGN Act and include precise timestamps for a complete audit trail. Your custom terms, valuation coverage options, and required disclosures are all presented automatically.

Step 3: Pay the Deposit. The customer pays their deposit securely online through our PCI-compliant payment processing. The deposit amount and payment terms are configurable per your business rules — percentage-based, flat fee, or full payment.

Once all three steps are complete, the move is automatically added to your dispatch calendar, the customer receives a confirmation email, and your CRM status updates to "Booked." Your team never needs to touch the booking.

Why This Is a Game Changer

Most moving software requires a phone call to finalize bookings. A salesperson has to call the customer, read through the agreement, collect verbal confirmation, and manually process a deposit. This creates a bottleneck that costs you bookings — especially from customers who prefer to handle everything online.

With Elromco's online booking, customers who receive a quote at 11 PM can book their move at 11 PM. Weekend browsers become Monday morning bookings without your team lifting a finger. Early data from beta customers shows a 25-35% increase in after-hours bookings.

No Additional Cost

Online booking is included in both the Professional ($289/mo) and Enterprise ($399/mo) plans at no extra charge. If you already use Elromco's online quoting and client portal, online booking is automatically available on your account.
