We are excited to launch the most detailed job tracking system in the moving industry: Elromco's 9-stage real-time job tracker. Every move now progresses through nine distinct stages with exact timestamps, giving your office complete visibility and your customers a dedicated tracking page they can check anytime.
The 9 Stages
Every job in Elromco now moves through these stages automatically:
- Confirmed — The move is booked and on the calendar.
- Crew Assigned — Your dispatch team has assigned a crew and truck.
- En Route to Pickup — The crew has left for the origin address.
- Loading — The crew has arrived and is loading items.
- In Transit — The truck is on the way to the destination.
- Unloading — The crew has arrived and is unloading items.
- Walk-Through — The customer and foreman do a final walk-through together.
- Completed — The eBOL is submitted and the job is closed.
- Delivered — Post-move follow-up and satisfaction confirmation.
Each stage transition is logged with an exact timestamp. Your office can see every job's current stage on the dispatch board, and managers can drill into the timeline to see exactly when each stage began and ended.
Customer-Facing Tracking Page
The standout feature of this update is the customer-facing tracking page. When a customer's move is in progress, they receive a link to a dedicated page showing their move's current stage, estimated arrival window, and crew details. No login required — they simply click the link from their email or SMS notification.
This eliminates the most common customer call your office receives: "Where is the truck?" Instead of tying up your phones, customers check their tracking page and see exactly what is happening in real time.
How It Works for Your Office
On the dispatch board, each job now displays its current stage as a color-coded badge. Dispatchers can see at a glance which crews are loading, which are in transit, and which are wrapping up. The stage transitions happen automatically based on crew actions in the Crew Portal — when a foreman marks "Arrived at Pickup," the stage updates to "Loading" for both the office and the customer.
No manual status updates are required from your dispatchers. The system stays in sync automatically.
Automatic Notifications
You can configure automatic SMS or email notifications for any stage transition. Common setups include notifying the customer when the crew is en route, when loading begins, and when the job is completed. Each notification is fully customizable with your own templates and branding.

The 9-stage job tracker is live for all Elromco customers on both Professional and Enterprise plans. Your existing jobs will automatically adopt the new tracking stages. No setup required — just open your dispatch board and you will see the new stage badges.
