Navigating the World of Reviews as a Trusted Moving Company

In an age where Yelping, Googling and reviewing hastily sweeps across the internet, it can be tricky to reassure potential customers that your moving company is trustworthy, honest and efficient. It’s important to represent your business accurately in the face of forces outside of your control. Here are some tips on how to manage your reviews.

We’ve all been there. One of your moves experiences a few hiccups and you are faced with a scathing review online from an unhappy customer. No matter how many attempts you make to resolve the issue, they are still upset.
Begin your retaliation by showcasing your higher ratings. If you have generally positive feedback on Yelp, Google, BBB, Facebook, etc. you should consider linking those reviews to emails and pages frequently used by potential customers. If you are a user of Elromco’s Moveboard, you can edit your emails to include links to those reviews and even include some of your best recent reviews for new clients to view.

Through your Moveboard software you can also create a section on your customers’ account page that links them to your positive online reviews. This leads them towards your positive reviews and allows undecided customers conduct research that is guided by your moving company.

Reviews can be a moving company’s best friend and worst enemy. As a user of the Moveboard, you can guide your happy customers to leave successful reviews on your chosen websites. Simply navigate to your Statistics tab, then the Reviews section. By clicking on the “Review Settings” button at the top of the page, you can decide how many stars you consider to be a successful review. This controls which email is sent to your customer as well as which websites they’ll be linked to.

Failed review customers will receive an email without those links in an attempt to prevent them from taking further action to negatively review your moving company online.

All moving companies are in the same boat when it comes to dealing with negative reviews online . The best way to combat them is to make sure you are doing your best to provide accurate quotes and the best service you can offer your customers!
